STORE LAUNCH · FOR FOUNDERS WITH A REAL PRODUCT
Done-for-you ecommerce store launch, done right
We set up and launch your store on Amazon, Walmart or Shopify for a fixed, published fee, then help run it if you want us to. You keep the accounts, the brand, the inventory, the money and every decision.
Amazon $1,499 · Walmart $1,499 · Shopify $999 · two for $2,499 · all three $3,499 · 30 days of support included
Quick answer
A done-for-you ecommerce store is one a provider sets up and helps run for you. Done right, every account, the brand, the inventory and the money stay in your name. Fees are fixed and published, and nobody promises sales. Ecom Relays launches stores on Amazon, Walmart and Shopify from $999 per channel, for founders with a real product.
What does "done-for-you, done right" mean?
Done-for-you should mean we do the setup and the daily operating work. It should never mean someone else owns your store, holds your money or tells you what it will earn. Our version is owner-light, not owner-free.
- You own it. Every account opens in your business's name and you hold the owner login. We work through user-level access you can remove at any time.
- Store Launch fees are fixed and published. One fee per channel, paid 50% at the start and 50% at go-live. Never a percentage of your sales or ad spend.
- A named lead runs the work. Your launch lead is named in your proposal before you sign, and every step ends with a short written update: what was done, what is waiting on whom and what comes next.
- You stay in charge of decisions. You choose what to sell and approve listings, prices, purchases and ad budgets. Plan on 2 to 4 hours a week.
- You can leave cleanly. Access removed within 24 hours, a written handover and your data returned or deleted within 30 days.
- Nobody promises sales, profit or rankings. Including us.
Ecommerce is a real business, not a shortcut. We build and run the operations so you can own a store without doing every task yourself. We do not sell stores and we never promise income.
Who is a done-for-you store launch for?
It is for founders and companies who already have a product and can pay for inventory, fees and ads while the store finds its feet. It is not for anyone looking for income without running a business.
Right for you if:
- You have a product: one you make, one whose brand you own or one you source from a supplier you choose.
- You can fund inventory, platform fees, ads and our fee.
- You can give 2 to 4 hours a week to decisions and approvals.
- You want a store you understand and can keep running.
Not for you if:
- You are looking for a way to make money without running a business.
- You want someone else to own the store and send you a share of what it makes.
- You need a promised sales figure before you start.
- You want to resell another brand's goods without permission, or dropship onto Amazon.
We say early when it is not a fit, because a wrong fit costs you more than our fee.
What you own and what we do
Ownership is the first question to settle with any provider, so here is the split in full.
| You | Ecom Relays | |
|---|---|---|
| Accounts | Open them in your business's name and hold the owner login | Prepare every document and form; guide each verification step |
| Product | Choose what to sell; approve suppliers and order quantities | Price each SKU after every platform fee; flag risks before you buy |
| Listings | Approve titles, images, prices and claims | Write, build and submit listings to each channel's rules |
| Inventory | Pay your supplier and freight | Plan shipments, labels and inbound; check stock in |
| Ads | Approve the budget and its rules | Set up launch campaigns and report spend every week |
| Money | Receive every payout in your own bank account | Never touch your funds or hold your inventory |
Choosing what to sell stays your decision on Store Launch. We price and check the products you are considering and tell you plainly if the numbers do not work, but Store Launch does not include product research or sourcing, and we do not sell product lists. If you want a team to research products and find and vet suppliers for you, that is Full Relay, our managed store service, where you still approve every product, supplier and purchase. How that work is done is set out on product research and sourcing.

What you pay others
These costs are yours, paid directly to the platform or supplier, whether or not a product sells. They are where the real risk of a new store sits, so we price them with you before you buy inventory.

How the launch works, step by step
A launch runs in six steps from a written readiness check to the end of 30 days of support. Listings usually go live around week 6.
| Step | When | What we do | What you approve |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 Launch Readiness Check | Week 0 | Price each product after every fee, check your paperwork, recommend channels in writing | Go or no-go, and which channels |
| 2 Accounts and approvals | Weeks 1 to 3 | Prepare documents, guide verification, apply for Brand Registry and category approvals | Every submission, made in your name |
| 3 Catalog and listings | Weeks 2 to 4 | Barcodes, titles, bullets, images and brand content built to each channel's rules | Every listing, price and claim |
| 4 Inventory and fulfillment | Weeks 3 to 6 | Set up FBA, WFS or your 3PL; plan the first shipment, labels and inbound | Order quantities and freight |
| 5 Go live | About week 6 | Listings live, launch ads on budget rules, stock and account health watched daily | The ad budget and its rules |
| 6 First 30 days | Weeks 6 to 10 | Daily health, stock and customer messages; a weekly review of sales, fees and margin | Whether to continue with Store Care |
Timings are typical, not promised. Marketplace approvals, supplier lead times and your decisions set the real pace.
After launch: Store Care, Ops Desk or a written handover
At the end of the 30 days you choose how the store is run from then on.
- Store Care Starter, $399 a month: one channel, up to 10 SKUs. Account health and listing checks every business day, listing upkeep, order and customer messages, reorder alerts, reimbursement claims with no commission and a weekly written update.
- Store Care Plus, $699 a month: up to 30 SKUs on one channel or 15 each on two, everything in Starter plus ad management up to $3,000 of monthly spend and a monthly margin report.
- Ops Desk, from $1,499 a month, once you sell $1M or more a year.
- A written handover, so you or your team can run the store yourselves.
Store Care has a first term of 3 months, then runs month to month with 30 days' notice by email. No exit fee.
The risk, in plain words
A new store is a new business, with real risk. Here it is without softening.
Most new stores take months to find steady sales, and some never do. Inventory, platform fees, freight and ad spend are paid by you.
- Those costs are not refundable by us if a product does not sell.
- We never promise sales, profit or a date when you will earn back what you spend.
- Marketplaces decide every application, Brand Registry request and appeal. We prepare them properly; we do not control the outcome.
- If a product's numbers do not work, we say so in writing before you buy inventory.
How to vet any done-for-you store provider
Plenty of honest firms set up and run stores for their owners. Some programs sold as done-for-you stores have ended in federal court. You can usually tell them apart before you pay. Use this checklist on anyone, including us.
| Green flag | Red flag |
|---|---|
| Every account opens in your name and you hold the owner login | They own or "lease" the account to you, or ask for your password |
| Published fees, a written scope and any commission terms in writing before you pay | A price you only hear on a call, or a fee described as a buy-in |
| No earnings figures, and a plain statement of what you could lose | Monthly profit figures, "no work needed" claims or a buy-back if the store does not earn |
| Inventory, payouts and bank details stay with you | They hold your inventory balance or collect payouts and send you a share |
| You approve every product, price and purchase | Products picked for you from a ready-made list, with no numbers you can check |
| Month-to-month terms after a short first term, with a written handover | Long lock-ins, exit fees or contract terms that stop you posting honest reviews |
| Named people you can speak to before you sign | Countdowns, scarcity claims and pressure to pay today |
| Reviews you can check on independent sites | Screenshots of payouts or reviews you cannot verify |
| They tell you when your numbers do not work | Claims that the store needs no experience or time from you |
| They follow platform rules: no dropshipping onto Amazon, no review schemes | Stores built on products you have no right to sell |
Seven questions to ask before you sign:
- Whose name is on the seller account, and who holds the owner login?
- What exactly is included, and which costs do I carry myself?
- Do you take any share of my sales or profit, and if so, on what terms, in writing?
- Have you ever told clients what they would earn? On what basis?
- Who will do the work, and can I speak to them before I sign?
- What happens to your access, my data and my listings if I leave?
- What will you tell me if my product's numbers do not work?
What the FTC has said about store programs
This is buyer education, not legal advice.
- The FTC's Business Opportunity Rule (16 CFR Part 437) requires a seller of a covered business opportunity to give the buyer a written disclosure document at least seven calendar days before the buyer signs or pays. It covers earnings claims, legal actions, cancellation or refund terms and references from recent buyers (16 CFR 437.2 and 437.3, Legal Information Institute, viewed Oct 20, 2026).
- Feb 27, 2024: an FTC settlement gave the businesses behind Automators AI and Empire Ecommerce, and two of their owners, a lifetime ban on selling business opportunities or coaching programs involving ecommerce stores. The FTC alleged that the vast majority of clients did not make the promised earnings, and that Amazon and Walmart routinely suspended, blocked or terminated the stores for repeated policy violations. The judgment was $21,765,902.65, partly suspended (FTC press release, Feb 27, 2024).
- May 9, 2025: an FTC order permanently banned Ecommerce Empire Builders and its owner from selling business opportunities of any kind. According to the FTC, the company sold "done for you" storefronts for as much as $35,000 and promised "profits of $10,000 each month". The judgment was $9,786,124, partly suspended (FTC press release, May 9, 2025).
Those cases share a pattern: promised earnings, stores sold to people without a plan for running a business and buyers who lost control of their accounts and money. A legitimate service looks like the opposite: your accounts, your money, published fees and no earnings promises.

Choose your channel
Each channel has its own launch page with the full scope and requirements.
- Amazon store launch: seller account, Brand Registry support, up to 10 listings and your first FBA shipment. Brand Registry needs a pending or registered trademark. From $1,499.
- Walmart launch and seller application: Walmart asks for a business tax ID (a Social Security number is not accepted), GS1 company prefix GTINs and a history of marketplace or ecommerce selling (Walmart Marketplace, checked Oct 20, 2026). From $1,499.
- Shopify store launch: your own branded site and customer relationships; you bring the traffic. From $999.

How much does a done-for-you ecommerce store cost with Ecom Relays?
Our launch fee is $1,499 each for Amazon or Walmart and $999 for Shopify, $2,499 for any two and $3,499 for all three, with 30 days of support included. You also pay platform fees, inventory, freight and ads directly. Before you pay us, you get our scope, our full fee schedule and a list of those costs for your product.
Will my store make money?
We do not know, and nobody can honestly promise it. Most new stores take months to find steady sales, and some never do. What we can do is price your product after every fee before you buy inventory and tell you in writing if the numbers do not work.
How much of my time does a done-for-you store take?
Plan on 2 to 4 hours a week. You choose the products and approve listings, prices, purchases and ad budgets. You also read a short written update at the end of every step. We do the setup and the daily operating work. That is what we mean by owner-light, not owner-free.
Who owns the store and the seller accounts?
You do. Every account opens in your business's name, you hold the owner login and payouts go to your bank account. We work through user-level access you can remove at any time. Listings, content, workflows and reports stay in your accounts if you leave.
Can you find me a product to sell?
Not as part of Store Launch. On Store Launch, choosing what to sell stays your decision; the free Launch Readiness Check prices up to 5 products you are considering, with fees and margin per unit on each channel. If you want us to research products and source suppliers, Full Relay, our managed store service, includes both. You still approve every product and supplier and pay suppliers directly.
How long until my first sale?
Listings usually go live around week 6. When sales start, and how many, depends on your product, price, reviews and ads, so we do not predict a number. Most new stores take months to find steady sales, and some never do. We report sales, fees and margin to you every week during the first 30 days.
Do you hold my money or my inventory?
No. Payouts go to your own bank account, and inventory sits with Amazon, Walmart, your 3PL or you. We never touch your funds, and we never take bank, payout or legal-entity permissions on your accounts. Access is through named users with multi-factor authentication, which you can remove at any time.
Do I need an LLC and a trademark?
Walmart requires a registered business with a tax ID and does not accept a Social Security number. Amazon and Shopify accept individuals; whether to form an entity first is a question for your accountant or attorney. A trademark is needed for Amazon Brand Registry, and a pending application is accepted.
Can I launch on Amazon, Walmart and Shopify at the same time?
Yes. Each channel is one Store Launch, and all three together cost $3,499. Walmart asks for a history of marketplace or ecommerce selling, so it is often added once another channel is running. We sync stock across channels so one inventory count serves every store.
Are done-for-you stores legit?
Some are and some are not. A legitimate provider puts every account in your name, publishes its fees, never states earnings figures and lets you leave with your accounts and data. The FTC has banned several programs that promised monthly profits from stores. Use the green and red flags above on anyone, including us.
