RELAY MODULES · 10 FIXED-SCOPE AUTOMATIONS
Relay Modules: ecommerce operations automation services, built in your accounts
Each module automates one area of your operations, built to a written spec in your own accounts and tools, documented and handed over.
Standard $750 · Advanced $1,500 to $3,500 · fixes free for 60 days after acceptance
Quick answer
Relay Modules are our ecommerce automation services for operating brands: fixed-scope automations for Amazon, Walmart and Shopify operations, covering stock sync, margin alerts, cash forecasts, order-status updates, returns rules, 3PL audits and more. Each is built to a written spec in your own accounts for $750 (standard) or $1,500 to $3,500 (advanced), and anything that fails acceptance is fixed free for 60 days.
These are automations for brands that already sell. We do not build or sell "automated stores".
All ten modules, with scope, timing and price
The same manual steps repeat every day in a growing brand: reconciling stock, answering order-status questions, checking fees and invoices. Each module takes one of those jobs. Every module has its own page with the full spec.
| Code | Module | What it does | Problem it fixes | Type and price | Typical timing |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| RELAY-01 | Profit and Cash Pulse | Daily owner dashboard: margin by SKU and channel, payouts held and when they land, cash tied up in stock, 13-week cash forecast | No single view of margin or cash | Advanced, $1,500 to $3,500 | 1 to 4 weeks |
| RELAY-02 | Margin Guard | Every fee, ad cost, shipping and landed cost per SKU; alerts and pricing rules when a SKU falls below its floor | SKUs selling below margin after fees | Advanced, $1,500 to $3,500 | 1 to 4 weeks |
| RELAY-03 | Stock Flow | One inventory truth across Amazon FBA, Walmart WFS, Shopify and the 3PL; reorder points, PO drafts, stockout alerts | Stockouts and overselling across channels | Advanced, $1,500 to $3,500 | 1 to 4 weeks |
| RELAY-04 | Landed Cost Desk | Landed cost per SKU under current tariff rules, price scenarios, paperwork ready for your customs broker | Tariff and freight changes not priced in | Advanced, $1,500 to $3,500 | 1 to 4 weeks |
| RELAY-05 | Account Health Watch | Daily Amazon and Walmart health checks, policy and pricing-rule checks, a compliance vault, appeal preparation | Health warnings found too late | Standard, $750 | 1 to 4 weeks |
| RELAY-06 | WISMO Breaker | Proactive shipping updates, an AI-assisted helpdesk for order-status questions, escalation rules | Inbox full of order-status questions | Standard, $750 | 1 to 4 weeks |
| RELAY-07 | Returns Relay | Returns rules, exchange-first flows, restock, chargeback evidence, reason-code reporting | Returns handled case by case | Standard, $750 | 1 to 4 weeks |
| RELAY-08 | 3PL Audit | Monthly invoice checks, stock reconciliation between 3PL and store, delivery-time monitoring | 3PL invoices and counts never checked | Standard, $750 | 1 to 4 weeks |
| RELAY-09 | Catalog Ready | Clean product data and feeds that meet title and pricing rules in marketplaces, search and AI shopping assistants | Listings rejected or suppressed for data errors | Standard, $750 | 1 to 4 weeks |
| RELAY-10 | Channel Launch | A new marketplace for a running brand: account approval support, catalog sync, fulfillment setup (FBA, WFS or 3PL), launch pricing, then run on your monthly plan | Adding a channel without breaking stock | Priced as a Store Launch for that channel: from $999 | About 4 to 8 weeks |
The exact price of an advanced module is fixed in writing before the build. ERP, WMS or 3PL integrations are scoped on a call and quoted in writing.
How a module is built
Every module goes through the same four steps, and you approve the spec before we build anything.
- 01Written spec.
The problem, the rules, the data sources and the acceptance tests, on one page. You approve it before the build starts, usually in week 1.
- 02Build.
We build in your accounts and the tools you subscribe to, over 1 to 4 weeks. Nothing lives on a platform we own.
- 03Acceptance.
We test the module against every acceptance test in the spec. Anything that fails acceptance is fixed free for 60 days.
- 04Care.
Monitoring, small fixes and changes when a platform changes its rules. Module Care is included on any monthly plan, or 10% of the build cost a year otherwise.
Billing is 50% at the start and 50% at acceptance. Documentation (how the module works, how to change it, who to call) is stored in your workspace.
What a written spec covers (Illustrative · sample spec, WISMO Breaker):
| Section | Sample content |
|---|---|
| Problem | Order-status questions take most of the helpdesk's first-reply time |
| Rules | Send a shipping update at label creation, at carrier pickup and on any delay; draft order-status replies with live tracking |
| Data sources | Shopify orders, Amazon and Walmart order reports, carrier tracking, the helpdesk |
| Approval points | Any reply that promises a refund, a reship or a delivery date goes to a person |
| Acceptance tests | 20 test orders across three carriers produce the right update at each event; every escalation rule fires on its test case |

What "automation" means here, and what it does not
A module automates a named job, such as an alert, a sync, a report or a drafted reply. A person on our team reviews what it does. It does not run your store on its own, set prices below your floor, issue refunds above your limit or submit anything to a marketplace without your approval.
Some modules use AI, for example to draft order-status replies. Each of those has written escalation rules and a named owner, and every automated action is logged. How we decide what AI may do alone, and what a person must approve, is set out on AI orchestration. For Shopify-only workflows, such as Shopify Flow, see Shopify automation.
Which module first?
Start with the problem that costs you most. Your free Profit Leak Scan ranks every leak by dollar impact and effort and names the module that fixes it. Without a scan, these are the usual matches, in owners' words.
| What owners say | Start with |
|---|---|
| "We keep running out of our top sellers." | Stock Flow |
| "Revenue is up, but margin is not." | Margin Guard and Profit and Cash Pulse |
| "Tariffs and freight moved and we have not repriced." | Landed Cost Desk |
| "Our inbox is full of where is my order." | WISMO Breaker |
| "Returns are handled case by case." | Returns Relay |
| "Orders ship with the wrong item, and nobody checks the 3PL bill." | 3PL Audit |
| "We find account health problems too late." | Account Health Watch |
| "Our listings get suppressed." | Catalog Ready |
| "We want to add a channel." | Channel Launch |
Modules group naturally by area. Stock Flow and 3PL Audit sit under inventory and 3PL management; WISMO Breaker and Returns Relay under order and customer operations; Profit and Cash Pulse, Margin Guard and Landed Cost Desk under profit and cash reporting.
You own every module
Every module is built in your accounts, documented in your workspace and handed over if you leave. We do not resell software licenses or take a margin on tools; any app or subscription a module needs is paid by you directly, in your name. If you stop working with us, the module keeps running.
How much do our ecommerce automation services cost?
A standard module costs $750. An advanced module costs $1,500 to $3,500, with the exact figure fixed in writing before the build. Channel Launch is priced as a Store Launch for that channel, from $999.
- Billing: 50% at the start, 50% at acceptance.
- Fixes: anything that fails acceptance is fixed free for 60 days.
- Module Care: included on any monthly plan; otherwise 10% of the build cost a year.
- Founding offer: 20% off module builds ($600 for a standard module), for our first 25 clients or until Jan 31, 2027, whichever comes first.
- Relay Module fees are fixed and published, never a percentage of your sales or ad spend. Prices exclude sales tax where it applies.
Every price is on Pricing.
Who Relay Modules are for
Relay Modules are for Ops Desk and Store Care clients, and for brands with their own team who want one workflow automated. You do not need a monthly plan to buy a module.
They are not for teams who want a software license or a platform we own. Every module lives in your accounts, and you subscribe to any tool it needs.
What you can check before you pay
- The written spec and acceptance tests, approved by you before the build and tested before you pay the second half.
- 60 days of free fixes after acceptance, in writing.
- Module Care terms.
- A sample one-page spec, labeled as a sample.

How much does a Relay Module cost?
$750 for a standard module and $1,500 to $3,500 for an advanced one, with the exact price fixed in writing before the build. Channel Launch is priced as a Store Launch for that channel. Billing is 50% at the start and 50% at acceptance, and upkeep is included on any monthly plan.
How long does a module take?
1 to 4 weeks each, counted from working access and an approved spec. Channel Launch takes about 4 to 8 weeks, because the marketplace sets the pace of account approval. If we can build two modules in parallel without them depending on each other, we say so in the spec.
What happens if a module does not work as specified?
Anything that fails an acceptance test in the written spec is fixed free for 60 days after acceptance. After that, Module Care covers monitoring, small fixes and platform changes. It is included on any monthly plan, or 10% of the build cost a year otherwise.
Who owns the module?
You do. It is built in your accounts and the tools you subscribe to, and documented in your workspace: how it works, how to change it and who to call. If you leave, it keeps running and the documentation stays with you.
Do we need Ops Desk to buy a module?
No. In-house teams can buy a module on its own, for a single job such as a 3PL audit or stock sync. Store Care clients get Module Care included, the same as Ops Desk clients. Without a monthly plan, Module Care is 10% of the build cost a year.
Do you use AI in the modules?
Some modules use AI, for example to draft order-status replies with tracking. Each has written escalation rules, a named owner and a log of every automated action. A person reviews the output, and anything outside the rules goes to a person rather than being answered automatically.
Will a module change prices or issue refunds on its own?
Only inside rules you approve in writing, such as a pricing rule that never goes below your margin floor or refunds under an agreed limit. Anything outside those rules goes to a person. No module submits anything to a marketplace without your approval.
Can you connect our ERP or WMS?
Yes. ERP, WMS and 3PL integrations are scoped on a call and quoted in writing before any work starts, because each system and contract is different. Standard modules connect to the channels, helpdesks and inventory tools most brands already use.
Every other service is on the services page.
