Full Relay, our managed ecommerce store service for Amazon, Walmart and Shopify
Full Relay is our managed ecommerce store service.
We research the product with you, source it, set up and launch your store on Amazon, Walmart or Shopify, then run it every business day. You own the business, the stock and every account, and you approve every product, supplier, price and purchase.
Performance model: $2,499, then a commission set in your agreement · Retainer: $1,499 onboarding, then from $999 a month
Quick answer
A managed ecommerce store service is a team that does the daily work of an online store while the owner keeps the accounts and the decisions. Full Relay starts earlier, with product research and sourcing, then covers setup, launch and daily running on Amazon, Walmart and Shopify. You keep every account in your name, pay suppliers and platforms directly and choose between a $2,499 fee plus a commission, or a retainer from $999 a month.
Most new stores take months to find steady sales, and some never do. Inventory, platform fees, freight and ad spend are paid by you.
What a managed ecommerce store service does, and what Full Relay adds
A managed ecommerce store service does the operating work of a store: listings, orders, customer messages, stock and account health. It is a different thing from "managed ecommerce" hosting, where a platform vendor keeps the website's servers and software running. Most store services start only once you already have a product. Full Relay starts one step earlier, with the question every new owner gets stuck on: what to sell and who will make it.
Starting a store means product research, suppliers, listings, a launch and daily operations all at once, and first-time owners often stall on one of them for months. Full Relay puts one team on all of it, in order, with a written approval from you at every point where money moves.
Whichever way you pay, the accounts, the brand, the inventory and every supplier relationship sit in your business's name from day one. Nothing is bought, listed or priced until you approve it. Suppliers, forwarders, Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, app makers and ad platforms bill you, not us, so we never hold your money or your stock.
We run the store. You own the business.

Who Full Relay is for, and who it is not for
Full Relay suits founders and companies who want a store on Amazon, Walmart or Shopify and want an experienced team to find the product, source it and run the store with them. It does not suit anyone looking for a store to buy.
Right for you if:
- You have a US business entity, or will form one, with a bank account and tax details for seller accounts.
- You can pay for samples, a first inventory order, freight, platform fees and ad spend yourself, separately from our fee.
- You can give a few hours a week to reviewing shortlists, approving suppliers and signing off purchase orders.
- You want to understand the business you own, read a weekly update and ask hard questions about it.
Not for you if:
- You want to buy a ready-made store, or a store someone else runs while you collect payouts.
- You need a promised sales figure, profit figure or a date when you will earn back what you spend.
- You want someone else to fund inventory or ads.
- You want to resell another brand's goods without permission, or dropship onto Amazon.
We do not sell stores and we never promise income. We say early when the fit is wrong, because a wrong fit costs you far more than our fee.
What is included in Full Relay
Full Relay covers six stages of work, each with a deliverable and a test for when it is done. This is the scope written into your agreement.
| Stage | What we do | Done when |
|---|---|---|
| Product research | Demand, competition, platform fees and margin per unit for each product idea, before you buy anything | You approve the products to launch from a written shortlist |
| Sourcing | Suppliers found and vetted; samples ordered and checked; quotes, MOQs and payment terms negotiated | You approve the supplier and place and pay the order directly |
| Brand and store setup | Seller accounts opened in your name; brand registry applications where eligible; listings and storefront built | Accounts are active and you hold the owner login |
| Launch | First inventory into FBA, Walmart Fulfillment Services, your Shopify fulfillment setup or a 3PL; listings live; launch plan | Listings are live and orderable |
| Daily running | Orders, customer messages, account health, stock and reorder alerts, reimbursement claims | Logged every business day |
| Reporting | A weekly written update and a monthly results review | In your inbox on a fixed day |
The research and sourcing method is set out step by step on our product research and sourcing page: the demand checks, the per-unit fee math, category and safety checks, supplier vetting, inspections and landed cost.
Not included: money for inventory or ads, manufacturing and warehouse labor, and tax, legal or accounting advice. Custom Shopify theme builds and migrations are a separate Store Build service.
What you own, approve and pay for
You own the business outright, and every decision that spends your money needs your written approval. This table shows the split.
| You | Ecom Relays | |
|---|---|---|
| Seller accounts | Opened in your business's name; you hold the owner login | Prepare documents, guide verification, work through named user access |
| Brand | Your trademark and brand registry enrollment | Prepare the applications where you are eligible |
| Products | Approve every product before money is spent | Research, shortlist and price each product after every fee |
| Suppliers | Approve the supplier, sign the order and pay the supplier directly | Find, vet, sample and negotiate; inspect before shipment |
| Prices and promotions | Approve every price and discount | Propose them with the margin effect shown |
| Inventory | Own all of it, wherever it sits | Plan reorders and send you purchase orders to approve |
| Ad budgets | Set the budget and its rules | Build and run campaigns inside those rules |
| Money | Every payout lands in your bank account | No access to bank, payout or legal-entity settings, ever |
Plan on a few hours a week. Most of it is reading the weekly update and approving the next step. Owner-light, not owner-free.
How Full Relay works, week by week
A typical Full Relay engagement moves from research to a live store in about 6 to 12 weeks, then into daily running. These are typical times, not promises: supplier lead times, marketplace approvals and how quickly you decide set the real pace.
| Typical weeks | Stage | What happens | What you approve |
|---|---|---|---|
| Before you sign | Free session or Launch Readiness Check | We talk through your goals, budget and channels; you see the agreement and every fee in writing | Whether to start |
| 1 to 3 | Research | Product ideas tested for demand, competition, fees and margin per unit; category and safety checks | The products to take forward |
| 3 to 8 | Sourcing | Suppliers vetted, samples checked, quotes and terms negotiated; first order placed | The supplier, the order and the payment, made by you |
| 6 to 12 | Launch | Accounts verified, brand registry filed where eligible, listings built, first stock delivered and checked in | Listings, launch prices and the launch ad budget |
| Every day after | Run | Orders, messages, account health, stock, reorder alerts and claims; weekly update; monthly review | Purchase orders, price changes and budgets |
Stages overlap on purpose. Account setup starts while samples are in transit, so a verification queue does not hold up a finished product.
Two ways to pay
Full Relay has two pricing models. Both cover the same kind of work; they differ in how our fee is structured. Your agreement sets out the model, the scope, the channels and the SKU count before any work starts.
Performance model
- Service fee: $2,499 one time, at signing.
- Then: a commission on your store's results, at a rate set in your written agreement before any work starts. The agreement defines how results are measured and reported, and for how long the commission applies.
- The idea: when your store sells, we earn. When it does not, you owe no commission.
The $2,499 service fee covers the setup work and is not tied to results. The commission is our only other fee on this model, and it is never a promise that your store will sell or make a profit.
Retainer model
- Onboarding fee: $1,499 one time.
- Then: a fixed monthly retainer, billed monthly in advance, with no commission.
| Starter | Growth | Full Scale | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly fee | $999 a month | $1,999 a month | $3,999 a month |
| Channels | One | Two | Amazon, Walmart and Shopify |
| SKUs | Up to 10 | Up to 30 | Up to 75 |
| Research and sourcing | 1 product line | Up to 3 product lines | Ongoing |
| Daily running and weekly update | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Ad management | Flat-fee add-on: $299 a month to $5,000 of spend | Up to $5,000 of monthly spend | Up to $15,000 of monthly spend |
| Monthly margin report | Not included | Yes | Yes |
| Named ops lead and weekly KPI review | Not included | Not included | Yes |
Retainer terms: a first term of 3 months, then month to month with 30 days' notice. Performance model terms are set in your agreement. Prices exclude sales tax where it applies. Every Ecom Relays price is listed in one place on Pricing and terms, and how we work sets out the operating standards behind each service.
Which model suits you
The performance model suits owners who want a lower fixed fee to us and accept paying a commission on whatever the store sells. The retainer suits owners who want a fixed, predictable monthly fee and no commission at all. If you cannot decide, an ops lead will set out both on one page for your plan in a free session, with every fee written down.
Our fees work differently by service. Store Care, Ops Desk, the 14-Day Ops Foundation, Relay Modules, Store Launch and add-ons are fixed, published fees and never a percentage of sales or ad spend. Full Relay is the one service that offers a commission option.
What you pay others
These costs are yours, paid directly to the supplier or platform, whether or not a product sells. They are where the real money in a new store goes, so we price them with you before you approve anything.
| Cost | Paid to | Amount as published | Source, date |
|---|---|---|---|
| Amazon Professional selling plan | Amazon | $39.99 a month, plus referral fees by category and FBA fees per unit | sell.amazon.com/pricing, checked Oct 20, 2026 |
| Walmart Marketplace | Walmart | No monthly fee; a referral fee set by contract category (15% for the Everything Else category; each category has its own rate); WFS fees if Walmart ships | Walmart referral fee schedule, Mar 9, 2026 |
| Shopify | Shopify | Basic plan $39 a month billed monthly, plus 2.9% + 30 cents per online standard card order (some cards cost more); apps and themes on top | shopify.com/pricing, checked Oct 20, 2026 |
| Trademark | USPTO, plus an attorney if you use one | USPTO base application fee $350 per class | USPTO fee schedule, verified 2026 |
| Samples, inspection, inventory | Your supplier and inspection firm | Your quotes, approved by you | Your agreement |
| Freight, duties and customs broker | Your forwarder, broker and US Customs | Your quotes; duty depends on the product's tariff code | Your quotes |
| Advertising | Amazon, Walmart, Google, Meta or other platforms | The budget you approve | Your budget |
The risk, in plain words
A new store is a new business, and it carries real risk.
- Most new stores take months to find steady sales, and some never do. Inventory, platform fees, freight and ad spend are paid by you.
- We never promise sales, profit, rankings or a date when you will earn back what you spend.
- Marketplaces decide every account verification, category approval and brand registry application. We prepare them properly; we do not control the outcome.
- A product that passes research can still fail to sell. Research lowers the odds of an obvious mistake; it does not remove the risk.
- If a product's numbers do not work, we say so in writing before you place an order.
Access, security and ownership
We work inside your accounts through named user access, never your owner password. On Amazon we use the access route Amazon currently approves for outside service providers, confirmed with you at kickoff. On Walmart we take a limited Seller Center role while you keep Admin. On Shopify we use collaborator access, which Shopify built for service providers.
Every account uses multi-factor authentication, named users only and the least access the work needs. We work in isolated, per-client work environments on company-managed devices, and we never take bank, payout or legal-entity permissions. Supplier contracts and invoices are in your name. An NDA and a Data Processing Addendum are ready to sign.
If you leave, you keep everything, because it was always yours: accounts, listings, supplier contacts, files and reports. The exit timings are in the standards below.
Ecomrelays LLC is a Texas company. Part of our team works outside the US, as one managed team with a named US-facing lead.

How to tell a managed store service from a store-for-sale program
A managed store service works for an owner who stays in control. A store-for-sale program sells you a business someone else controls, often with promised earnings. The difference shows up in a few plain tests, and you can use them on anyone, including us.
| Ask | A managed service answers | A warning sign |
|---|---|---|
| Whose name is on the seller account? | Yours, and you hold the owner login | Theirs, or an account "leased" to you |
| Who pays the supplier and holds the inventory money? | You, directly | They hold an inventory balance for you |
| Will they tell you what the store will earn? | No | Monthly profit figures or a payback date |
| Is the fee in writing before a sales call? | Yes, with the scope | A price you only hear on a call |
| Can you leave with your accounts and data? | Yes, with a written handover | Lock-ins, exit fees or buy-back clauses |
The full side-by-side is in managed store service vs a store-for-sale program, and our guide on how to choose a managed store service lists 12 questions to ask before you sign.
Choose your channel
Each marketplace changes the work, so each has its own page.
- Full Relay on Amazon: research inside Amazon's own data, Brand Registry with a pending or registered trademark, FBA prep and daily account health.
- Full Relay on Walmart: Walmart asks for a business tax ID and some ecommerce selling history, so it is often a second channel.
- Full Relay on Shopify: your own branded site and customer list; you bring the traffic, so research weighs search demand and ad costs.
How much does a managed ecommerce store service cost?
Full Relay has two prices. The performance model is a $2,499 service fee at signing, then a commission on your store's results at a rate set in your written agreement. The retainer model is $1,499 onboarding, then $999, $1,999 or $3,999 a month with no commission. On both, you pay suppliers, freight, platform fees, apps and ad spend directly. Prices exclude sales tax where it applies.
Why do you not publish the commission rate?
The rate depends on your channels, product lines and how results are measured, so it is set per client and written into your agreement before any work starts. You see the rate, how it is calculated, how it is reported and how long it applies before you sign or pay anything. If any part of that is unclear, do not sign until it is clear.
Will my store make money?
We do not know, and nobody can honestly promise it. Most new stores take months to find steady sales, and some never do. Inventory, platform fees, freight and ad spend are paid by you. What we commit to is the work: research before you buy, a written margin per unit, daily running and a weekly written update on what happened.
Who owns the store?
You do. Seller accounts, the brand, the stock and every supplier relationship are in your name from day one. Payouts go to your bank account. We work through named user access that you can remove at any time, and if you leave, everything stays with you.
Do you choose the products?
We research and shortlist them; you choose. Each product on the shortlist comes with its demand evidence, competition, platform fees, landed cost and margin per unit. Nothing moves to sourcing until you approve it in writing, and we tell you plainly when a product's numbers do not work.
How long until my store is live?
Typically 6 to 12 weeks: research in weeks 1 to 3, sourcing in weeks 3 to 8 and launch in weeks 6 to 12. These are typical times, not promises. Supplier lead times, shipping, marketplace approvals and your decisions set the real pace, and we tell you in writing when something moves.
What is the difference between Full Relay and Store Launch?
Store Launch sets up a store for a product you already have, for a fixed fee from $999 per channel, then Store Care can run it from $399 a month. Full Relay adds product research and sourcing before the launch and runs the store afterward. If you already source and own a product, Store Launch is usually the cheaper path.
Can I stop?
On the retainer, after the first 3 months you can stop with 30 days' notice. Performance model terms, including how the commission ends, are set in your agreement before you sign. Either way, you keep every account, listing and supplier contact, and we hand over in writing within 5 business days.
