Amazon PPC management services for a flat monthly fee
Our Amazon PPC management services run your Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and display campaigns for a flat $299 a month up to $5,000 in monthly ad spend, or $599 a month up to $20,000. We never charge a percentage of your spend. Every bid is judged against what each SKU earns after Amazon's fees and your landed cost, and you approve the budget and the rules before anything goes live.
Ad management from $299 a month, flat · Included up to $3,000 spend in Store Care Plus · Ad spend is paid by you to Amazon · Never a percentage of spend
Quick answer
Amazon PPC management is the weekly work of building and running pay-per-click campaigns in Amazon Ads: choosing keywords and products to target, setting bids and budgets, adding negatives and reading the reports. Ecom Relays does it for a flat monthly fee, sets a break-even ACOS for every SKU from your real margin and stops ads on products that are out of stock or losing money.
What our Amazon PPC management services include
We run your campaigns every week, to rules you approve, and report spend against margin rather than clicks.
| What we do | How often | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Set a break-even ACOS and a target ACOS for every advertised SKU from your fees and landed cost | At the start, then whenever a cost or price changes | A sale that costs more in ads than it earns is a loss, however good the ROAS looks |
| Build and restructure campaigns: automatic discovery, manual keyword and product targeting, brand terms | At the start, then as the catalog changes | Clean structure makes the search terms report readable |
| Harvest search terms that convert into exact-match campaigns; add terms that spend without converting as negatives | Weekly | This is where most wasted spend is found and stopped |
| Adjust bids in small steps, one change at a time per campaign | Weekly | Large swings make it impossible to tell what worked |
| Pause ads on SKUs that are out of stock, under the reorder point or no longer eligible for the Featured Offer | Checked every business day on plans that include daily stock checks; weekly on the ad add-on alone | Ads on a product you cannot ship burn budget and rank |
| Keep total spend inside the monthly cap you set | Weekly, with an alert if pacing runs ahead | You decide the budget; we never raise it without approval |
| Weekly spend and margin report | Weekly | Ad spend, ad sales, ACOS against break-even and the decisions we need from you |
The add-on covers campaign management. It does not include photography or video production, and ad spend is always paid by you directly to Amazon.
Which Amazon ad types do we manage?
We manage the three self-serve ad types most sellers use. Which ones you can run depends on your selling plan and whether your brand is in Amazon Brand Registry.
| Ad type | What it does | Who can use it | How it is charged |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sponsored Products | Ads for single products in shopping results and on product pages | Sellers on the Professional plan; the product must be eligible for the Featured Offer. Adult, used and refurbished products and closed categories are not eligible | Cost per click. "No monthly or upfront fees." You set a daily budget and a maximum bid |
| Sponsored Brands | Your logo, a headline and several products, or a video, at the top of and alongside shopping results | Professional sellers enrolled in Amazon Brand Registry | Cost per click, or cost per 1,000 viewable impressions (vCPM) |
| Display ads (formerly Sponsored Display) | Ads on product pages, shopping results and off Amazon, targeted by product, category or audience, including shoppers who viewed or bought | Professional sellers enrolled in Brand Registry | Cost per click or vCPM; Amazon states no minimum spend |
Sources: Amazon Ads product pages for Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands, the Amazon Ads display ads guide and Sell on Amazon's advertising page, all checked Oct 20, 2026. Amazon says "Sponsored Display is now known as display ads", and existing Sponsored Display campaigns keep running under the new name.
If your brand is not yet in Brand Registry, start with Sponsored Products and read our Amazon Brand Registry services page: Sponsored Brands and display ads open up once you are enrolled.
New sellers may qualify for an Amazon credit of up to $1,000 for Sponsored Products in the first 90 days after listing (Sell on Amazon, checked Oct 20, 2026). Conditions apply and Amazon decides eligibility. We check whether you qualify before we spend a dollar of your own budget.
How we decide what a click is worth
We start from your margin, not from a target ROAS. Amazon defines ACOS as ad spend divided by ad revenue, says "There isn't a definitive number for a good Amazon ACOS" and says that to keep a profit, ACOS needs to stay below your profit margin (Amazon Ads, ACOS guide, checked Oct 20, 2026). So the first number we set for each SKU is its break-even ACOS.
Break-even ACOS = contribution per unit before ads ÷ selling price × 100
Illustrative · sample figures
| Line | Amount |
|---|---|
| Selling price | $29.99 |
| Referral fee (sample rate; yours depends on the category) | $4.50 |
| FBA fulfillment fee (sample) | $5.20 |
| Landed cost per unit (product, freight, duty) | $8.00 |
| Other variable costs (returns allowance, storage share) | $0.50 |
| Contribution per unit before ads | $11.79 |
| Break-even ACOS | 39.3% |
On these sample figures, an ad-attributed sale at 45% ACOS costs $13.50 in ads and earns $11.79 before ads, so it loses $1.71. At 25% ACOS, the same sale keeps $4.29. We set your target below break-even, by an amount you choose, and every campaign is judged against it.
We also track TACOS, which is ad spend divided by total sales, ad and organic together. TACOS is an industry measure, not an Amazon metric. If it falls while total sales rise, ads are helping the whole listing. If it climbs while total sales stay flat, you are paying for sales you might have had anyway. Our free lesson on ACoS and TACoS walks through both with more examples.
The weekly routine, report by report
Every account gets the same routine on a fixed day each week. The report names below are the ones Amazon Ads uses in the console.
- 01Search terms report (Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands).
Find shopper searches that converted and move them into exact-match campaigns. Add searches that spent without a sale, past a click threshold you approve, as negative keywords.
- 02Targeting report.
Compare each keyword, product target and category target with the SKU's target ACOS. Raise or lower bids in small steps.
- 03Advertised product report.
Check ACOS and spend by SKU. A SKU above break-even for two weeks running gets a written recommendation: fix the listing, the price or the bid, or stop advertising it.
- 04Placement report.
See whether top-of-search placements earn their higher cost for your products.
- 05Search term impression share report.
Watch your share on the terms that matter most, including your own brand name.
- 06Display ads matched target report.
See which product pages your display ads appeared on.
- 07Weekly report to you.
One page: spend against cap, ad sales, ACOS against break-even by SKU, what we changed and the decisions we need.
Why stock and listings come before bids
Ads amplify whatever is already true about a product. If the listing converts poorly, ads buy more clicks that do not convert. If stock is about to run out, ads speed up the stockout and the ranking loss that follows. And Sponsored Products only run on products eligible for the Featured Offer (Amazon Ads, checked Oct 20, 2026), so a pricing or stock problem can switch your ads off without warning.
That is why we check three things before we raise a budget: days of supply on the SKU, the listing's content and suppression status and whether the offer is still eligible. On clients who also use our Amazon listing and catalog management or Amazon inventory and fees work, those checks share one view, so the person changing bids can see the stock plan.
What Amazon PPC management costs
Every price is published, and anyone at the same stage pays the same price. A percentage of spend pays a manager more for every extra dollar you spend; a flat fee removes that pull. Ad spend is paid by you directly to Amazon and is never part of our fee.
| Option | What you get | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Ad management add-on, up to $5,000 monthly spend | Campaigns, bids and budgets on rules you approve; weekly spend and margin report | $299 a month, flat |
| Ad management add-on, up to $20,000 monthly spend | Same scope at higher spend | $599 a month, flat |
| Above $20,000 monthly spend | Same scope, quoted in writing before work starts | Quoted |
| Store Care Plus | Daily store running for up to 30 SKUs on one channel (or 15 each on two), with ad management up to $3,000 spend included and a monthly margin report | $699 a month |
| Dedicated PPC and ads specialist | A named, full-time person who works only on your accounts, managed by us | Salary passed through at cost, plus $399 a month management fee |
Monthly add-ons follow your plan's notice period. Store Care runs a first term of 3 months, then month to month with 30 days' notice by email, with no exit fee. Prices exclude sales tax where it applies. Founding offer: 20% off add-ons and launch fees, plus 20% off monthly plans for the first 6 months, for the first 25 clients or until Jan 31, 2027, whichever comes first.
Full Relay, our managed store service, includes ad management up to a set spend level on its larger plans. If you want a full-time person instead of a shared team, see the dedicated PPC specialist role.
A flat fee also keeps the budget conversation simple. You set the monthly cap and we work inside it. If we think a higher cap would pay on the numbers, we show you the SKUs, the break-even and the evidence in writing, and the decision stays yours. Every plan and add-on is listed on our pricing and terms page.
What you approve, and what we never do
You approve the monthly spend cap, the target ACOS for each SKU and any new campaign type. Inside those rules we change bids, keywords and negatives every week without asking, and we report every change.
We never:
- Ask for your Amazon password. You invite our named users to your Amazon Ads account with the access level you choose, and you can remove them at any time.
- Raise your budget, change your prices or touch your listings' content without your approval.
- Charge a percentage of your ad spend or your sales for ad management.
- Run ads on products you cannot ship.
- Promise an ACOS, a ranking or a sales figure. Amazon runs the auction, and no manager controls the result.
The full access standard is on our security and access page.
Who this is for
- Brands selling $1M or more a year that want ads run against margin by someone who also sees stock and fees. Start with the free Profit Leak Scan, which shows margin by SKU and channel after every fee.
- Any seller who wants the rest of the store run too. Our Amazon store management plans cover account health, listings, stock and claims.
- Stores on Store Care that are ready to advertise. Store Care Plus includes management up to $3,000 a month in spend.
- Brands that already work with an ads agency on another channel and want Amazon handled on a flat fee.
It is not the right fit if you want video or photo production (not included), a promised ACOS or sales figure, or someone to advertise products that are not yet in stock and ready to sell.
Spend on ads only where the margin is there
Brands at $1M+ a year can start with a free Profit Leak Scan: a written report within 48 hours of working access, read-only, with margin by SKU and channel after every fee. No sales call required. Or book a free 30-minute session with an ops lead and bring last month's ad report.

How much do Amazon PPC management services cost?
Our ad management is a flat $299 a month for up to $5,000 in monthly ad spend and $599 a month for up to $20,000. Above $20,000 we quote in writing before work starts. Store Care Plus, at $699 a month, includes ad management up to $3,000 in spend. Ad spend is always paid by you directly to Amazon. Prices exclude sales tax where it applies.
Why don't you charge a percentage of ad spend like many agencies?
Because a percentage pays the manager more for every extra dollar you spend, whether or not that dollar earns anything. A flat fee keeps our advice about your margin. When we recommend cutting a campaign or lowering a budget, it costs us nothing, so the recommendation has no hidden motive behind it.
Can you promise a lower ACOS or more sales?
No, and be careful with anyone who does. Amazon runs the ad auction and decides placements. What we commit to is the process: a break-even ACOS for every advertised SKU, a weekly routine on a fixed day, ads paused on products you cannot ship and a weekly report of spend against margin.
Which Amazon ad types do you manage?
Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and display ads, which Amazon called Sponsored Display until its recent rename. Sponsored Products are open to Professional sellers whose products are eligible for the Featured Offer. Sponsored Brands and display ads need your brand enrolled in Amazon Brand Registry. Amazon DSP and video production are outside this add-on.
Do I need Brand Registry to advertise on Amazon?
Not for Sponsored Products. For Sponsored Brands and display ads, sellers need a brand enrolled in Brand Registry, and enrollment also opens Brand Stores and A+ Content. A pending trademark application can be enough to enroll in some cases. Our Brand Registry page explains the requirements and the order of steps.
What is a good ACOS on Amazon?
Amazon says there is no definitive number. A good ACOS for you is one below your break-even ACOS: your contribution per unit before ads divided by your price. A product with an $11.79 contribution on a $29.99 price breaks even at 39.3% (Illustrative · sample figures). We set a target below that for every SKU.
Can I keep my existing campaigns?
Yes. We start by reading what you have, keep what earns its keep and restructure only what we cannot read or measure. Nothing is deleted without your approval. Campaign history stays in your Amazon Ads account, in your name, whether or not you keep working with us.
How much should I spend on Amazon PPC?
Set the cap from margin, not from a percentage of sales someone quotes you. Start with enough daily budget that your best five to ten SKUs do not run out of budget before the evening, then widen only where ACOS stays below break-even. Sponsored Products has no monthly or upfront fees, and Amazon states display ads have no minimum spend. You set the cap, and we never raise it without your written approval.
How long before PPC changes show results?
Give a bid change at least a full week of data before judging it, and a new campaign two to four weeks. A week covers weekday and weekend shopping, and low-traffic terms need time to collect enough clicks to judge fairly. That is why we change bids weekly in small steps. You see every change and its effect in the weekly report.
Do you need my Seller Central or Amazon Ads password?
No, never. You invite our named team members as users with the access you choose and keep the owner login. Every user has multi-factor authentication, and access is removed within 24 hours of a team change or the end of the work.
