Store Care: ecommerce store management for new and small stores

A named team runs your store day to day after launch, for a fixed monthly fee.

Store Care runs a store that already has a product and stock to sell. If you want a team to find the product and the supplier as well, that is Full Relay, our managed store service.

Starter $399 a month · Plus $699 a month · 3-month first term, then month to month

Quick answer

Small ecommerce store management means a team runs the daily work of a store (account health, listings, customer messages, reorder alerts and reimbursement claims) while the owner keeps the accounts and the decisions. Ecom Relays Store Care does this for new and small stores on Amazon, Walmart or Shopify for $399 or $699 a month, with a first reply within 4 business hours.

You keep the accounts, the stock and every decision.

What small ecommerce store management covers each week

Store Care covers the checks and chores that slip when one founder is doing everything. All of it happens inside your own accounts, logged every business day.

AreaWhat we doHow often
Account healthAmazon and Walmart health checked; listing status checked on every channel; warnings acted on the same business dayEvery business day
ListingsContent, price and variant upkeep, on changes you approveAs needed, logged daily
Orders and messagesOrder and customer messages handled to your written policyFirst reply within 4 business hours
StockReorder alerts before a SKU runs low, with a suggested quantity; you approve every purchaseChecked every business day
Reimbursement claimsLost, damaged and refunded-but-not-returned units claimed, with no commissionMonthly, inside each marketplace's window
Weekly updateWhat was done, what is waiting on whom, what comes nextIn your inbox on a fixed day
Ads (Plus only)Campaign management on rules you approve, up to $3,000 of monthly spendWeekly, with a spend report
Margin report (Plus only)Margin by SKU after fees and adsMonthly, in writing

What a weekly update looks like (Illustrative · sample figures):

MeasureThis weekNote
Orders142Two late shipments, both carrier delays; buyers messaged
Customer messages answered37Median first reply 2.6 business hours
Amazon account healthHealthyNo new warnings
Walmart listings12 published, 1 unpublishedMissing attribute fixed Tuesday; republished Wednesday
Stock alerts2 SKUsReorder suggested for SKU-104 (240 units); waiting on your approval
Reimbursement claims3 filedTwo lost-in-warehouse units, one refund not returned

Watch the claims line. Claims for units lost or damaged in an Amazon fulfillment center are due within 60 days of the item being reported lost or damaged, and small stores rarely have anyone checking. On Store Care it is part of the monthly routine, with no commission; FBA reimbursements explains the rules.

What we watch every business day

Each marketplace scores your store, and a missed check turns into a suppressed listing or a warning you find too late. These are some of the numbers we check, against each platform's own targets.

Starter or Plus?

Starter covers one channel and a small catalog. Plus covers a larger catalog or a second channel, and adds ad management and a monthly margin report.

Move up when you pass the limit: past your plan's SKU or channel limit you move to the next plan, and at $1M or more a year, to Ops Desk. A 12-month prepay is 10% off. Billed monthly in advance. Store Care fees are fixed and published, never a percentage of your sales or ad spend. Prices exclude sales tax where it applies.

Founding offer: 20% off launch fees, add-ons and the Foundation, plus 20% off monthly plans for the first 6 months, for our first 25 clients or until Jan 31, 2027, whichever comes first. Every price is on Pricing.

Owner-light, not owner-free

Store Care takes the daily work off your desk, but the decisions stay with you. Plan on 2 to 4 hours a week for approvals: prices, purchases and ad budgets.

Store Care does not include product research or sourcing. Choosing what to sell, and from whom, stays with you. If you would rather have a team research products, vet suppliers and negotiate samples and terms, see product research and sourcing, which is part of Full Relay.

Standards you can hold us to

The standards are written into your agreement, with a credit when we miss them. Business hours are 9am to 6pm US Central, Monday to Friday, excluding US federal holidays.

We make no promise of sales, revenue, profit or rankings. Access works the same way as on every plan: named users with multi-factor authentication, never your owner password; see security and access.

  • First reply to your requests and customer messages within 4 business hours.

  • Urgent issues, such as a suppressed listing or orders not flowing: first response within 1 hour.

  • Account-health warnings acted on the same business day.

  • A weekly written update on a fixed day.

  • A 10% credit on that month's fee in any month in which fewer than 95% of first replies arrive within 4 business hours.

Who Store Care is for

Store Care is for new and small stores run by founders with a real product and the budget for inventory, fees and ads.

Right for you if:

  • We launched your store through Store Launch, and you want the same team to keep it running.
  • You launched the store yourself and the daily checks are slipping.
  • You sell on one or two of Amazon, Walmart and Shopify, with up to 30 active SKUs.

Not the right fit if:

  • You sell $1M or more a year. Ops Desk fits better.
  • You have no inventory to sell yet. Start with a free Launch Readiness Check.
  • You want a store that runs without you. Store Care is owner-light, not owner-free.

When to move up to Ops Desk

Move up once you sell $1M or more a year, or when you need a 3PL coordinated, support run at volume or a third channel. Ops Desk starts at $1,499 a month after a one-time 14-Day Ops Foundation, with a named ops lead and a pod. The move takes effect from the next billing month, once we agree it with you in writing.

Leaving

You can leave with 30 days' notice by email after the first 3 months. There is no exit fee. You keep everything, because it was always in your accounts. We send a written handover, remove our access within 24 hours and return or delete your data within 30 days.

The risk, in plain words

Store Care runs the work; it cannot make a product sell. Most new stores take months to find steady sales, and some never do. Inventory, platform fees, freight and ad spend are paid by you and are not refundable by us if a product does not sell.

Questions

Questions owners ask

Talk to an ops lead (free)
How much does small ecommerce store management cost?

Store Care is $399 a month for Starter (one channel, up to 10 active SKUs) or $699 a month for Plus (up to 30 SKUs on one channel or 15 each on two). Founding clients pay $319 or $559 for the first 6 months. Your platform fees, inventory, freight and ad spend are paid by you directly.

What is the difference between Starter and Plus?

Plus covers a larger catalog or a second channel, and adds two things Starter does not have: ad management on rules you approve, up to $3,000 of monthly spend, and a monthly margin report by SKU after fees and ads. Everything else, from daily checks to claims, is the same on both plans.

Is ad spend included?

No. Ad spend is paid by you directly to Amazon, Walmart or the ad platform. Plus includes managing campaigns up to $3,000 of monthly spend. On Starter, ad management is a flat $299-a-month add-on up to $5,000 of spend. Neither is ever a percentage of your spend.

How long is the contract?

A first term of 3 months, then month to month with 30 days' notice by email from either side. There is no exit fee. The first term gives the routine time to settle: listings cleaned up, claims caught up and your weekly update running on a fixed day.

Can you take over a store we launched ourselves?

Yes. We start with a free Launch Readiness Check, which prices your products after every fee and checks your paperwork, then write a plan for the takeover. You give our team access through each platform's own user or partner settings; we never ask for your owner password.

Who does the work?

A named team with a named lead, working 9am to 6pm US Central, Monday to Friday. Ecomrelays LLC is a Texas company. Part of our team works outside the US, as one managed team with a named US-facing lead. Your lead is named in your proposal before you sign.

Will you buy stock for us or find new products?

No. We send reorder alerts with a suggested quantity, and you approve and pay for every purchase. Store Care does not include product research or sourcing. If you want both, Full Relay, our managed store service, includes them, with you approving every product and supplier.

What happens when we outgrow Store Care?

Past your plan's SKU or channel limit you move from Starter to Plus. Once you sell $1M or more a year, Ops Desk fits better: a named ops lead, a pod and a weekly KPI review. Either move takes effect from the next billing month, once we agree it with you in writing.
