This tracker is a dated log of Amazon fee changes in 2026 and the rule and fee changes that affect Walmart and Shopify sellers, plus the shipping and tariff changes that hit all three. Each entry gives the effective date, who it hits, what to do and the source, labeled by type so you can see how solid it is. It covers Amazon, Walmart, Shopify and US shipping and trade. It does not cover TikTok Shop or other channels.

Amazon's holiday peak fulfillment fee
started Oct 15, 2026 and runs to Jan 14, 2027, averaging about $0.32 a unit. Price Q4 margins with it.

WFS fourth-quarter storage
from October to December, inventory stored more than 30 days carries an extra $1.50 per cubic foot a month. Send Q4 stock that will sell within 30 days.

Section 301 tariffs
of generally 10% or 12.5% have applied since Jul 24, 2026. If you have not re-costed every SKU by country of origin, do it before you place Q1 orders.

USPS 8% charge changed from "announced pending approval" to in effect from Apr 26, 2026, with the USPS announcement as source. USPS dimensional weight entry now cites the USPS final rule (Platform) instead of a 3PL blog. The Amazon fuel and logistics surcharge is confirmed in effect until further notice and applied on top of peak fees (Supply Chain Dive, Jul 13, 2026).

What Amazon fee changes happened in 2026?
FBA fulfillment fees rose an average of $0.08 a unit on Jan 15, 2026. A 3.5% fuel and logistics surcharge started on Apr 17, 2026 for FBA and May 2, 2026 for Multi-Channel Fulfillment. The holiday peak fee runs Oct 15, 2026 to Jan 14, 2027. Prep and labeling services ended Jan 1, 2026. Payouts moved to 7 days after delivery from Mar 12, 2026.
What changed for Walmart sellers in 2026?
WFS long-term storage fees started on Jun 30, 2026 for stock older than 365 days, the referral fee schedule was updated on Mar 9, 2026 and the seller performance standards page was updated on Jul 28, 2026 with eight standards. New-Seller Savings runs until Jan 31, 2027.
What changed for Shopify stores in 2026?
Shopify Scripts stopped running on Jun 30, 2026 and were replaced by Functions. Agentic Storefronts launched on Mar 24, 2026, letting merchants sell inside AI chat tools such as ChatGPT. Vendors also reported that legacy tracking on non-Plus Thank you and Order status pages stopped working after an Aug 26, 2026 upgrade.
Why are some entries labeled "Vendor, verify"?
Because the only source we found is a company that sells related services. Those reports are often right and early, but we do not treat them as confirmed until the platform publishes the rule. When it does, we change the label and the source.
How do tariff changes affect my store?
They change your landed cost per unit, and with it your margin on every channel. In 2026 the rules moved several times: the IEEPA ruling in February, a Section 122 tariff from February to July and Section 301 tariffs from Jul 24. Re-cost each SKU by country of origin and confirm rates with your customs broker.
Does the tracker cover TikTok Shop or eBay?
No. We run operations on Amazon, Walmart and Shopify, so the tracker covers those channels plus the US shipping and trade rules that affect them.
