Shopify tutorial videos for store owners

Short Shopify tutorial videos for busy store owners.

Learning videos teach a skill in under two minutes. Informative videos explain what changed and what to check.

Quick answer

This page collects every Ecom Relays video about running a Shopify store. Learning videos cover setup, plans, automation, stock across channels, order-status tickets and returns. Informative videos cover Shopify's 2026 changes: Scripts, Thank you page tracking, AI channels, payment fees, payout holds and checkout leaks.

Characters in our 2026 Education Campaign videos are fictional, and their voices are AI-generated. Our earlier video series also uses AI-generated voices. Market figures on screen show their source and date.

Informative videos: what changed and what to check

These report a change or a fact. Videos tied to a date, such as a fee, are reviewed whenever Shopify changes that fact.

Where to start

Pick the row that matches your store, watch the three videos in order, then read the lesson each one points to.

  • New store:

Shopify 101, then Which Shopify plan should you choose?, then The 2% Shopify fee you might not know you pay.

  • Growing store:

Automating Shopify with Flow, Sidekick and fewer apps, then Seven in ten carts are abandoned, then How to cut where is my order tickets.

  • $1M+ brand:

Shopify in 2026: what changed, then Multichannel inventory without overselling, then Shopify checkout, payments and chargebacks.

If a video raises a problem you recognize, the cause, fix and number to watch are on Problems and fixes. For click-by-click help with one admin setting, Shopify's own Help Center has documentation and videos for each part of the admin (help.shopify.com, read Oct 20, 2026); our videos cover what to do and why, around those settings.

How to get the most from a two-minute video

Watch with your own admin open. Each video names a setting, a report or a number; find it in your store while it is fresh. Then read the lesson the video points to, because the written page has the sources, the dates and the checklist that the video has no room for.

Watch pages carry a transcript, so you can search for a term or share the exact sentence with your team. The rest of our free Shopify guide follows the same order as these videos: start, scale, then systems past $1M.

Coming next: longer sessions with operators

Our current videos are short. We plan longer Operator sessions, 8 to 15 minutes, with an ops lead walking through a real screen with sample data. The Shopify-related sessions planned cover syncing inventory across Amazon, Walmart and Shopify, and giving an agency safe access to Amazon, Walmart and Shopify. They will appear here when published, with transcripts. Videos for the other guides are on the Learning Center video library.

Questions

Questions about these videos

Get a free Profit Leak Scan
Are the people in these videos real?

No. Characters in our 2026 Education Campaign videos are fictional and their voices are AI-generated. They are not staff or customers. Our earlier video series uses AI-generated voices. Our planned Operator sessions will feature real ops leads. Each video carries that label on the page.

Are these videos free?

Yes. Every video is free to watch here and on YouTube, with no sign-up. The written lessons they point to are free as well, and there is no sign-up wall anywhere in the Learning Center. If a video raises a question about your own store, you can book a free 30-minute session with an ops lead.

How current are the facts in the videos?

Each video was made in 2026. Videos tied to a date, such as fees, are reviewed when Shopify changes those facts. The lesson pages are checked monthly and carry the date they were last checked, so if a video and a lesson ever differ, trust the lesson and its date.

Do the videos replace the written lessons?

No. The videos are short introductions. Each written lesson has the full detail, checklists and sources, and most take five to ten minutes to read. Watch the video first if you prefer, then read the lesson it points to. Each lesson also carries the date its facts were last checked.

Can I share these videos with my team?

Yes. Share the watch page link so your team also sees the written answer, the transcript and the sources. A short video before a team meeting is a quick way to agree on what to change. Before anyone acts on a figure, check the date on the lesson page it points to.

Why are the videos so short?

They were made for quick answers to one question each. Longer walkthroughs with operators are planned and will be added here when they are published. Each one points to the written lesson that covers the topic in full, with sources and a checklist.
