Dedicated Amazon PPC specialist for your Amazon and Walmart ads
A dedicated Amazon PPC specialist is one named person who manages only your advertising, every working day.
They build and tidy campaigns, mine search terms, adjust bids and budgets inside the rules you approve and report what the money did. They can run Walmart Connect campaigns too. We recruit, supervise, equip and secure them; you pay their salary at cost plus a $399 monthly management fee, and your ad spend goes straight to Amazon and Walmart.
Salary at cost + $399 a month · Never a percentage of your ad spend · Replacement at no extra fee

Quick answer
A dedicated Amazon PPC specialist runs your Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and display campaigns full time, and can run Walmart Connect too. Through Ecom Relays, you approve the specialist, set the budget and the rules, and pay their salary at cost plus $399 a month. Our fee is never a percentage of your ad spend, and the spend itself is billed to you by the ad platform.
Why ads deserve a full-time person, and when they do not
Amazon advertising rewards attention. Search terms that waste money show up every day, competitors change bids every hour and a product that goes out of stock keeps spending until someone pauses it. A specialist who looks at your account every morning catches those things while they are small.
That only pays for itself above a certain level of spend and complexity. If your monthly spend is modest or your catalog is small, our flat-fee Amazon PPC management add-on is the better choice: $299 a month for up to $5,000 of monthly spend and $599 for up to $20,000, never a percentage of spend. A dedicated specialist fits when ads across Amazon and Walmart fill a working week.
What a dedicated PPC specialist does every day
The specialist paces spend and adjusts bids daily, mines search terms weekly and cleans up structure monthly, all inside the budget rules you set.
| Every business day | Every week | Every month |
|---|---|---|
| Budgets paced against the daily and monthly caps you set | Search term reports mined: winners moved to exact match, wasters added as negatives | Campaign structure reviewed and cleaned up |
| Bids adjusted inside your target ranges | Placement and product-targeting results reviewed | Tests planned and read: creative, bids, placements |
| Ads paused on out-of-stock or suppressed products | New products added to campaigns once listings are live | Ad spend reconciled with platform invoices |
| Spikes in spend or cost per click investigated | Weekly report: spend, sales, ACoS and TACoS by product | Monthly summary with the period and source on every number |
One rule we hold to: fix stock before you touch ads. Ads on an out-of-stock or suppressed listing burn money and do nothing for the product, so your specialist works closely with whoever owns inventory, such as a dedicated inventory and PO coordinator or an Amazon account manager.
Ad types and platforms they work in
- Amazon Ads console: Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands campaigns, display campaigns, bulk sheets and the search term, targeting and placement reports. Sponsored Display is now part of Amazon's wider display ads offering, and new display campaigns are created as display ads (Amazon Ads, checked Oct 20, 2026). Sponsored Brands is open to professional sellers enrolled in Brand Registry; see Amazon Brand Registry.
- Walmart Connect: Sponsored Search campaigns for Walmart Marketplace sellers. Our Walmart advertising management page covers the platform.
- Seller Central Business Reports, for total sales by product, so ads are judged against the whole business and not only ad-attributed sales.
- Your own reporting sheet or ad tool, if you already pay for one.
How a dedicated PPC specialist is measured
Ads have two kinds of KPIs: whether the work is done, and what the spend did. Both are agreed before the start date and written into the role scope.
| KPI | What it shows | Target |
|---|---|---|
| Spend against budget | Monthly spend inside the caps you set | Never over the cap |
| ACoS | Ad spend divided by ad-attributed sales, by product | Inside the range you set per product stage |
| TACoS | Ad spend divided by total sales, ads and organic | Tracked weekly |
| Wasted spend | Spend on search terms with clicks and no orders | Trend down |
| Search term work | Search term reports reviewed and acted on | Every week |
| Out-of-stock spend | Spend on products that could not be bought | Zero |
A launch product and a mature product need different targets: a launch often runs at a higher ACoS on purpose, while a mature product should not. You set those ranges, in writing. Our ACoS and TACoS module explains both measures. None of these KPIs promises sales or rankings; ad results depend on the product, price, reviews and competition.
What you provide
- Named access to the Amazon Ads console and Walmart Connect, never owner passwords.
- A monthly budget cap and written rules: target ACoS ranges per product stage, maximum bids and which products to push or hold.
- A named contact who approves budget changes and new campaigns.
- Ad spend, paid by you directly to Amazon and Walmart.
Supervision, cover and replacement
A lead on our side checks your specialist's changes every day against your rules: did spend stay inside the cap, were negatives added, were out-of-stock products paused? KPIs are reviewed with you on a fixed cadence agreed at kickoff. If your specialist leaves or is not the right fit, we recruit a replacement, you approve them and we handle onboarding and access at no extra fee. The departing person's access is removed within 24 hours.
What a dedicated PPC specialist costs
You pay their monthly salary, passed through at cost and shown on every invoice, plus a $399 monthly management fee. Billing is monthly in advance, with a 3-month first term, then month to month on 30 days' notice. Our fee is never a percentage of your ad spend.
For a US reference point, the nearest BLS occupation is search marketing strategists (SOC 13-1161.01), whose wage data comes from market research analysts and marketing specialists (SOC 13-1161): a national median of $37.87 an hour, or $78,760 a year, in May 2025 (BLS Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics, released May 15, 2026). A US employee also costs payroll taxes and benefits on top of salary.
How the comparison works: divide a US salary by 0.70 to get its fully loaded cost, because benefits are about 30% of total compensation (BLS Employer Costs for Employee Compensation, June 2026), then compare it with the dedicated salary plus twelve months of management fees. On that basis, a dedicated resource can cost up to 70% less than the fully loaded cost of a comparable US hire.
Illustrative · sample figures
| Comparable US hire | Dedicated resource | |
|---|---|---|
| Salary | $50,000 a year | $16,800 a year |
| Benefits and payroll taxes (the 30% share: salary ÷ 0.70, less salary) | About $21,400 | Covered by the salary and the management fee |
| Management fee | None | $4,788 a year ($399 x 12) |
| Total | About $71,400 a year | About $21,600 a year |
| Difference | About 70% lower |
We use the same sample figures on every page so they can be checked; real salaries depend on the role and experience, and some roles show a smaller gap. Your proposal shows the real salary for each person, and the full method is on our dedicated ecommerce team cost page.
Security and access
Your specialist works on a company-managed device in our production rooms, with named logins and multi-factor authentication, never owner passwords or shared logins. They have no access to payment methods, billing settings, bank or payout details. Access is removed within 24 hours of any change. Read our security and access practices.
Ecomrelays LLC is a Texas company. Part of our team works outside the US, as one managed team with a named US-facing lead. Each resource works an agreed schedule that overlaps US business hours.
How much does a dedicated Amazon PPC specialist cost?
Their monthly salary, passed through at cost and shown on every invoice, plus a $399 monthly management fee. Your proposal shows the salary before you agree. Ad spend is paid by you directly to Amazon and Walmart. Terms: a 3-month first term, then month to month with 30 days' notice.
Do you charge a percentage of ad spend?
No. Our fee is the $399 monthly management fee per person, plus the salary at cost. It does not grow when your spend grows. The same is true of our flat-fee ad management add-on.
Should I hire a dedicated specialist or use your ad management add-on?
If your monthly spend fits within $20,000 and your catalog is simple, the add-on at $299 or $599 a month costs less. A dedicated specialist fits when ads across Amazon and Walmart fill a full working week and you want the same person in the account every day.
Can they run Walmart ads as well as Amazon?
Yes. One specialist can run Amazon Ads and Walmart Connect Sponsored Search campaigns, with separate budgets and rules for each. Write both into the role scope.
Will they change my budget on their own?
No. They work inside the monthly cap and rules you approve in writing. Any change to the cap, a new campaign type or a new product push goes to your named contact for approval first.
What are ACoS and TACoS?
ACoS is ad spend divided by the sales ads produced. TACoS is ad spend divided by all sales, from ads and organic together. ACoS tells you whether a campaign is efficient; TACoS tells you whether ads are helping the business as a whole.
Can a PPC specialist promise lower ACoS or higher sales?
No one can honestly promise that. Ad results depend on the product, price, reviews, competition and stock. A specialist is measured on the work: spend inside your cap, search terms mined, waste cut and ads paused on products that cannot sell.
Do I choose the person?
Yes. We recruit and screen candidates, and you meet and approve the specialist before they start. If they are not the right fit, we replace them at no extra fee.
