AI automation video lessons for ecommerce sellers
Short AI automation video lessons for ecommerce sellers, one idea each.
Learning videos teach a method you can use this week. Informative videos explain a change, a market fact or a forecast, with the source on screen.
Quick answer
This page collects every Ecom Relays video on AI in ecommerce: the AI Ops series on what works, orchestration, 3PL connections and guardrails; the Commerce 2030 series on AI shopping agents and catalog readiness; and channel videos on selling to AI shoppers.
How are these videos made, and how should you use them?
Each video is short: explainers run about a minute and a half and Shorts about 30 to 40 seconds. Figures appear on screen with their source and date. The people in them are fictional characters with AI-generated voices; they are not our staff and not our clients. Where a figure is a forecast or a vendor's claim about its own product, the video and this page say so.
Use them as a starting point. Each explainer has a watch page with a full transcript, the sources and links to the guide that goes deeper. The written lessons in our free AI automation guide carry the detail, the checklists and the dates.

Where to start
Pick the line that matches where you are, watch the videos in order, then read the lesson each one points to.
- New to the topic:
AI in e-commerce: what actually works, then 3 actions AI should never take alone, then module 01.
- Running two or more channels:
What is AI orchestration, then How to orchestrate your 3PL, then the Scale guide.
- Getting ready for AI shoppers:
How AI shopping agents will change the way people buy, then Selling to machines, then module 08 and the What's new in 2026 page for your channel.
What is coming next?
Longer Operator sessions are planned, recorded on demo accounts with sample data, along with short recordings of each Relay Module running in a demo environment once real demo builds exist. They will appear here with transcripts when published. Until then, the Relay Modules page describes what each module does and where it stops.

Are the people in these videos real?
No. The characters are fictional and the voices are AI-generated. They are not our staff or clients. Figures on screen carry their source and date, and forecasts are labeled as forecasts. Every video is labeled this way. Our planned Operator sessions will feature real ops leads.
What is the difference between learning and informative videos?
Learning videos teach a method you can apply, such as setting guardrails or syncing stock from put-away. Informative videos explain a change, a market fact or a forecast, so you know what is happening before you decide whether to act.
Can I watch these on YouTube?
Yes. Each explainer has a watch page here with the full transcript and sources, and the same video on our YouTube channel. Shorts appear on this page and on YouTube. The watch page is the better place to share, because it keeps the sources with the video.
Why are some videos not shown?
One video, on Walmart's Sparky assistant, includes usage figures we are still checking against a primary source. It goes live once the source line on screen is confirmed. We hold any video until each figure in it can be traced to where it came from, with the date, so what you see here is something you can check yourself.
Will there be longer videos?
Yes. Long-form sessions with ops leads are planned, recorded on demo accounts with sample data, never on a client's account. They will appear on this page with transcripts when they are published. Until then, the written guide covers each topic in full.
Do the videos promise results?
No. They explain how things work and where automation should stop. Nothing in them is a promise of sales or profit, and the written guide says the same: automation saves time on repeat work; it does not create demand for a product.
